What is the sound of one hand clapping? A Zen kōan

One hand can make no sound so logically there would be no sound.
Sound needs a source to be.

Just like Death needs life to die, or death could not be.
Life needs a source to be.

Jesus has changed things around.. soon life will always be, and one handclapping will still make no sound, but we won't need to care.

The heart reacts to what the mind thinks, imo.

Well, the absence of sound is soundless but can never be considered a sound.
I get what you are saying, by saying nothing more about it.

Interesting, I would think that too, that the heart moves with the mind.
If our hearts are hardened, then the mind becomes uncensored by good conscience.

Yes I have that book

I would say more like father and son, as a Christian. Jesus is God's son mystically.
The Buddha, a spiritual beacon for sure. My Buddha-nature origins are from God, although the Buddha refused to try to define the source. And why should he as he was not it.

I know your views differ Sky and that's OK too.. If a person respects my views I can respect there's too.. It's interesting this.

If you meet the Buddha, kill him. I get it. If Jesus comes to me, he might send me to hell, and the Buddha too. What do I do? Give up on Christianity, or try to understand its view. I find it very deep, ...paths.
