Transubstantiation.
Is this explainable to a Non-Christian or should it just be accepted through faith as being a Miracle....

For non-believers or skeptics, it could be like hypnosis.
In hypnosis shows people can eat an onion thinking it's an apple.

I can see Bread/Wine representing the Body/Blood of Jesus but can't grasp the 'Element's' side to it....

Well I guess it emphasizes the fact that people see all physical aspects modified. In lucid dreaming I had very convincing experiences, so anything is possible I would say.
I'm reading more about it, but do people really see the flesh and blood of Jesus? Are they not disturbed of being cannibalistic?!

No because Cannibals eat what is dead and Christ is alive in the Eucharistic. I can understand that Jesus is 'present' in the Sacrament but the elements part is puzzling me, It's definitely a thought provoking doctrine for me....

I believe in alchemy (being able to transmute elements doesn't seem crazy, it's all protons electrons neutrons, all energy of some form)
But I think mind control / hypnosis is easier to do, with the same result in people's minds.
You can also view it as a trust system, like the monetary exchange in which the face value is different from the actual exchange value. In this case there are two co-existing realities, one in people's minds, and another in the physical reality.

Sky,
Is there missing context here ? First is it explainable to Christians who are not Catholic ?
