Symbolic rich indie movies?
Some of my favorite movies are the indie movies that use allegory and symbolism.
My all-time favorite being "A Company of Wolves" (if you haven't seen, its a must watch, just ignore the unnecessary first 8 mins or so).
Another favorite is a slightly more noisy: "Paperhouse"
And more recently, "Mother!" directed by Darren Aronofsky.
Does anyone have other to recommend that may be similar to these?

Ron Fricke's films: Chronos, Baraka, Samsara
(Fricke was the cinematographer on the Qatsi trilogy)
