They’re are so many ways to describe Moksha. I like what Swami Lakshmanjoo wrote, saying it’s a sublime state where the world appears and disappears with each breath. Another view holds full enablement of Christ consciousness or say, love, wisdom and power. SatChitAnanda is same, since bliss is but a higher octave of love manifest, rising from joy, empathy, compassion, all rooted in purity of being. Kashmir Shaivism adds will and creativity to these attributes. One saint, Swami Hiraharananda said it’s simply taking in breath up to the crown, laying it at God’s lotus feet, shining as soft, white light ~ beautiful!

Essentially, I’d say, a recognition, in active cognition of how God as singularity projects the universe as duality.

Unchanging, self-existent love and light ~
Dissolving all opposites, shining bright

Beautiful! Can you post the source of this sentence? I would like to read more from it.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I dared to ask this question to my guru - what does Moksha mean practically? - my guru looked at me, smiled and said meet me after few lifetimes. Somehow after that conversation, I never asked that question to anyone but I will be keen to know what others have to say to your post here

I agree that "these all seem to be different ways of talking about moksha without actually describing what it means in practical terms for the individual who has attained liberation".

Could you elaborate a little more in practical terms on how a liberated being might live.
