Are we really in hell…and how do we know we aren’t?

Are we really in hell - stuck with a single observer? And how do we not know we aren’t in hell?

Reincarnation is hard- it can be described as if we are in hell? Things like fire and metal all elements including electrical- have high threshold; how come we are fragile human beings have little or none threshold?

Hell doesn't exist. Life is hard full stop. I know I didn't want to incarnate here.

Excuse me. You don't have triple chocolate cake in Hell.
Nor puppy breath or red roses, gardenias...the list goes on and on.
(Or 'hellish places' created by ourselves.)
My opinion anyway.

Life here can be hard...for some... sometimes.
Life here for others is fantastic!!!
Sorry hazada -I'm being nit-picky over verbs.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.

What is the point to life? This is what I don't get.

If Hell is defined as a place of suffering, then we are in Hell. I don't have to suffer personally to know it. If it can happen to someone else, it can also happen to me.

When I see a homeless guy coming up to me to ask for a dollar, I find it hard to look at him. Giving him the dollar is the easy way out. I won't do it. I want that state of suffering to lodge in me, and add to that my inability to put an end to such suffering.

Life is Hell and I want to burn in it until the last person is free.

In which case you will be burning for a long time. And what does that achieve?

If someone is sinking in quicksand we don't help them by jumping into the quicksand with them. Better to stay on firm ground and throw them a rope.

If you want to end the suffering of others, first become free from suffering in yourself. Otherwise you are just part of the problem.

Peace

I can understand why people would think they are in hell. Life can be very hard for a lot of people. Covid makes things a lot worse. At the moment it can feel gloomy. Being homeless or being very sick with pain would be like living in hell. Every one has problems. Some are worse than others. People can make bad financial decisions or through no fault of their own they no longer able to pay rent or mortgage because they lost their job or got sick. They could marry the wrong person and end up emotionally and financially drained. They can do nothing wrong but have bad luck.

I believe what Miss Hepburn says. We are not in hell. There is a lot of beauty here. I have my husband, children and grand children. There are other things as well to look forward to and to enjoy.

I think we are here to learn from our mistakes.
