Thanks for the clarification, Miss H. You are right, although nowadays the two are often wrongly used interchangeably, as I myself did.
But the principle still applies - so many adult issues originate from childhood experiences, whether those experiences are unconsciously repressed or consciously suppressed.

You have had a few good answers here on what to do. but I feel you will dismiss them because you are looking for a quick fix.
as you have been told already your soul has not left you. if it had you wouldn't be here.
We all go through tough times and think we want an escape out. but you are where you are meant to be.
Like you have been told fill yourself up with positive thoughts and inspirations

Hi Native spirit, and thanks for your reply.
It's been a few days now since my original post and I feel a little clearer about what I need to do, and I'm aware it's me that needs to do the work and there is no quick fix.
I understand now that my soul didn't leave, we have just temporarily lost contact.
The last few months have been the most terrifying of my life and now I need to change. I've had my wake up call.
Thank you to everyone who has replied. I hope I can find more assistance on this forum.
