A Storm's Brewing, Tornado, and Passed Loved One's

I am currently staying with a family member who took over the home their parent's used to own, my grandparent's to be precise.

In my dream last night, both grandparent's were in it.They both played an active role, my grandpa mostly. It took him almost too long to get back into the house. The house in the dream is not the house we are currently living in.

The house was the safe place to get to.

A storm was brewing with dark clouds in the sky, and the wind started to pick up, than a tornado shot out. My mom, grandma, and I all came into this house as quickly as we could. My grandpa last.

Nobody spoke, and I only ever saw the side or back of my grandma, and I saw all of my grandpa.

I am not, and have never been very close to this family, but in the dream, having everyone in that little house felt sheltered, and safe. I also felt an estrangement to everyone in the house, too. It was like they were just there, nothing more.

The storm/tornado was a threat, but as long as we stayed inside, it could not get us. Before the tornado, there were other days like this, where we seemed to keep an active eye in the sky for a threat. I had another dream right after and it was similar, except it was a different type of home, in which we were out on a balcony, and this home seemed familiar, but the storm was off in the distance.

In this present reality, not the dream state, I had not been here for almost 20 years. & currently in my life there has been much upheaval.
