Go splashing in the puddles with the kid, and when parents scowl at you then you know you've done the kid a favour. Point out shapes in the clouds and open your sense of wonder. Buy a small pouch, put marbles in it and carry it with you always. Wear your peccadillos with pride.

Hello,

For me aging comes with this physical existence.
Can’t really avoid it.

It comes to me, it is how I live life and the attitude towards life here.

It can be harsh and can be pleasant. That’s life at any age.

Growing older has its perks. Gained a deeper understanding of myself. Gained a deeper appreciation of others in my life. Gained a deeper appreciation for the moments given.

Yeah, not as perky as I may have been at times, lol. Not as smooth and perhaps a bit more cranky, lol.

Am also more grateful for still being able to do things like walking, work, and be cognitive. Not everyone is so blessed, no matter the age.

Yes, perhaps the journey is becoming a little bit shorter, but there is still plenty of adventure out there and life to live.

Life has taken on a different feel. Don’t feel have to “prove myself”. There is and has been a “youthful” stereo type out there. But, that is fleeting and many “young” are not all that content, IMO. Not a slam just an observation of how I felt in my “younger” days and notice.

It is not all rainbows and flowers. But, it is not all darkness and sludge. A little of this and a little of that. It is how I adjust and get through it that gives further understanding and flavor to life.

I think you should start praying and see if it helps.

I'm not at all looking forward to getting older. I plan to end it by the time I'm somewhere 50-60 ((this is only MY perspective, and may not apply to most other people!)). For me, no point in being old, alone and miserable.

Since my childhood I had been praying to God to keep me young till death. I have been fine like a young man till 74. But now the old age seems to overtake.
