I often get woken up by hearing either my mother or father calling my name .

A couple of years ago I went away for a few days around Christmas. I don't go away often really.
The doorbell of my apartment is quite loud and one morning I was woken by the sound of it. It was so loud I woke suddenly. I'm convinced that the landlord went into my home that time I was away (I got a security camera afterwards). |

Our Higher Self / Guides / Angels / spend a lifetime looking after us - with very often no or little appreciation... So yes occasionally they could ring the doorbell for attention, or move teddy when we are young - mummy someone's moved teddy and his arm is up waving at me, as long as its good spirit doing this then it's ok... Keep the vibes up in the property to discourage anything dark, anyone with this type of issue...
