John is still slowly recovering from Covid . His medication and time has eased most of the symptoms but he is still not quite 100%... Hoping and praying he does not struggle with the effects of "long covid" on top of everything else. And I DO mean on top of everything else.
This week alone he has had 4 different appointments and tests for 4 different conditions that are of a big concern, and then, apart from those he has to have some major surgery before Christmas and then more major surgery after Christmas...
I know we all wish him well as he remains in our thoughts and prayers .

I cannot really go into detail with all the specifics but suffice to say it has been one thing after another after another. And I feel that with each individual ailment and medical issue it is knocking his health back so much that his resistance is allowing anything and everything to enter because it is so low.
Top to toe , and everything in between . It almost seems as though every part of his body is suffering in one form or another . Some of the things are connected to when he was in hospital in the spring . Other things are medical procedures due to unconnected issues , but that have not healed afterwards .
There are concerns in many areas with regard to those issues.
The surgeries he is due any day are a separate issue again .
In short , his body has battled so hard to overcome all these things and even as it stands at this moment in time , and without anything else , recovery will go on well into next year.
I'm not sure if he reads the messages . If he does he hasn't said. I have permission to give little updates , but I'm not going into great detail in case that was not what he wanted .
But I know he will be grateful for your best wishes.

Hopefully, 2023 will be better for my body and soul. LOL!

Where's here...Arizona?  Did it get down to 40F at night?
