I'm glad we have established that organized religion is basically the coming together of people with like-minded beliefs and practices. Clue is 'organized'. Religion persists. Humans are a religious species. In my opinion, the Buddhist retreat and the yoga weekend are as religious as a group of people sharing a ritual in church or Hindu temple.

Not sure where "10 year old" comes from, but as far as gay teens being thrown out of Christian homes, evidence of this is easy to find by simply googling about the issue.

There are many strange things in the myth of Adam and Eve.
Was Adam born alone or first?
If Adam was created in God’s image and likeness, who is woman modeled after?
Satan is depicted in part as a woman.
Who was she modeled on and why female? Likely because of evolution and women being men’s biological prize.

In law, to be punished, one must be shown to have evil intent or an evil mind. Latin, Men’s Rea.
This is what human justice is based on.
Was Eve innocent, given that she had no evil intent?

Note that even if you do not have to see "sin" in the Biblical connotations to weigh in on the topic. It comes down to what we feel the role at times was that was taken. We can agree to disagree, but keep it on topic.

I so personally feel that we are an equal creation of both the good and the evil ( if we choose to see it in that context ) to be whom we are as human beings. We all can honestly say I feel we have "sin" in us that we have all done something in life wrong. That does not make us a bad person, just a path we choose to take.

What role did Eve have ? Sadly she was maybe the first female to be put under the hand of "man." without a clear and equal footing.

Too whom or what is God or god depending on how you see it. Maybe an ET?

Yes and we should not take it literally, it was neve meant to be taken literally, the many interpretations are most times believed to be literally true, and hence all the arguments over who has the true interpretation., the reason why I do not follow any scriptures.

Teenagers are. A lot of runaway teens are gay kids who were kicked out of their house. Who said anything about a 10-year-old?

One site states 1 in 4 teens are forced to leave their homes once they come out. It's a big problem

Thank you John. Yes, lets get back to the original question. The OP had a condition we are ignoring, it was this

What does this mean,. It may imply she did something having no intention of it to be evil. We need to ask the OP did she do anything. Then you can answer the question. You do these kinds of things everyday. Information is important. Does a person have the right to do. Even if a person has no evil intent they have knowledge. If they were told they knew, they just didn't like it. We see this out in the world today, people are very prideful.

Remember none of us are teachers and this is a hypothetical question. Per the question of how punishment follows was this, neither of them would now be allowed to eat from the tree of life. It would no longer be available and denied to them. Remember there were 2 trees, one was tree of life. Since the fruit of the tree (was) of life was not available, they and everyone that followed would die. Dying and such things as pain and even not being led, even not belonging and lost, and not loved would be included. Also that information of who says comes from teachers.

Can we get back on subject, if you can answer this question then you can answer all the other questions you have. It is apparent to me after hearing what has been said is it may help if Christians lead Christians, not us.
