asking around to see if there are others on this forum that observe the 7th day sabbath and follow the OT and The 5 Books of Moses and the feast listed in Lev 23 ?

I was a seventh day Adventist who kept the Sabbath but then I found out that this wasn't necessary, the Sabbath to me is when you are completed in God, while you are still in the carnal mind you will never be completed in God, there you will be working towards your Oneness in pure Essence, or your true SELF. The problem with many they see the Sabbath as an outer ritual, the same as the Sanctuary where they sacrificed animals to their God, this was never meant to be, we sacrifice our own carnal self to God that we my become our true Divinity, or Christ like, but the whole bible has been taken literally and the whole spiritual meaning has been lost.

I do, but then again I am a Jew and I am a rabbi. It comes with the territory.

B'shalom,

Peter

I was in the SDA church also for about 12 years, but the end of that began the day our church was picketed by pro-life people. That was when I discovered that the SDA church hospitals actually do provide abortions. Beginning of the end in that I began to question absolutely everything about organized religion. Nice clubs if you're into conformity, but little room for individuation. So I left. I will say that for the years we were there, it was needed because it provided a completely new lifestyle that enabled us to leave behind a load of bad habits so that was good.

kinda of the same deal here, we left the country club /New Covenant stuff about 6 yrs ago when we started asking uncomfortable questions and got the cold shoulder. The SDA teachers were important in our walk and we appreciate their knowledge as well as many others. We study all of scripture and obey sabbath and the feast and have learned the correct names as well as dietary instructions and to think how easy it would have been to miss it scares me to death.
