The Tibetans have a saying, something along, the lines of………….I could be dead tomorrow………meaning of course enjoy every minute of today cos you may not be here the next day.

Some people find it morbid, but I personally find it inspiring.

Each and every one of us will be dead tomorrow but we don't know for sure which tomorrow it will be. For a time I may miss being alive in this world but I'm expecting I will love waking up in the next.

Indeed. I sometimes contemplate the fact that one morning I will be having my final breakfast on Earth, my final cup of coffee, and I will probably not realise that it is my final breakfast. Just as all those who die unexpectedly never realised when they woke up that morning that this was the last day of their current life.

And just as a dream dissolves when we wake up, so when we find ourselves in the next world then all the cares and concerns of our current life will also be left behind. If we are prepared and ready to let them go. But we are told that so many people have difficulties because they are unprepared and they continue to hold onto their cares and concerns, even without a physical body.

Peace

I'm at an age where I am aware that any particular action may be my last but it doesn't concern me as I trust my life has worked out the way I planned it. If it hasn't then there is likely to be little I could do at this late stage anyway. So I don't worry.

It would be understandable if some folk are initially not free of their previous, worldly burdens, burdens they may have experienced much or all their incarnate lives. Nonetheless a lack of understanding of afterlife matters may only relate to one's incarnate self and on return to the etheric and freed from the constraints imposed by our crummy physical systems we may have far more understanding than ever we were aware of during our last incarnation.

I Would agree with that boyce, I have not had it easy and I still don't but I always strive to Help others.
But I know when I pass I will wake up to a Better place.
