Making the bridge

I think a key to solving my sleeping problem might be to making connections to characters in dreams. Any advice on how to achieve that?

Your woke brain can influence your sleeping brain. Practice setting intentions for your “asleep goals” and try to see if that works.

Or if you’re more into reasoning you could try to deeply assimilate what they go through.

Or maybe something else like trying to truly “listen” to your dreams instantly after waking up. A bit like reflecting.

Just some ideas. Not sure what will work for you!

If I may ask, what kind of issues do you have? What makes it a bridge (is it a bridge to your other parts or these characters for example)? What do you believe dreams are and what they are good for?

Doesn't sound like you're having a sleeping problem if you're dreaming.... Insomnia is the real deal, and I have the experience to back it up.

Yes! :) A good idea is to keep a dream journal. The more you're able to recall and reflect upon your dreams, the easier it becomes to plug your everyday awareness into your dream life. And if you meet someone, reflect on who they represent, it's often an aspect of yourself. However, beings do come, I've met several in my years, and they are special. They provide Light messages, soul gifts. Think of these people and beings you meet, before you sleep. Meditate on it, seek to speak to them and know them. Be that meditative consciousness when you (will) drift off into sleep at night!

Love is in our dreams as well! Because Love is All!

I will try that.

In particular I mean, for instance, as happened a few months ago I accidentally got into a trance state (I should be able to do so consciously but don't know how) and there appeared someone who gave me a napping bottle and said it has a "drug" in it that will help me sleep (hm and I were both bums so the drug reference was extra emphasized). As soon as I drank it I got relaxed and fell asleep. I felt that the character in this dream was more conscious and interacting than perhaps in other dreams. So I figure that by whatever means I am able to make the connection with these characters, they will help me sleep :)

I reflect on my dreams alot and oftentimes I am able to interpret their meaning. But I don't find keeping a dream journal appealing in the same way I don't like keeping a mantra. It feels too mental and rigid, unrelaxing.

I think the issue is mostly due to not getting enough energy to the third eye chakra. Because whenever that happens I feel relaxed and I get the same effect as that napping bottle gave me. Maybe I should reflect more on that dream to get more clues. So for instance, being a bum, you obviously don't have anything to worry about and live moment by moment. So maybe that's a clue. But thoughts have a way of jumping on you and sometimes I have blocks in the energy that just wont go.

I'm not too familiar with the whole third eye stuff. If I were you, I wouldn't waste time chasing dreams and their so-called meanings, as they are nothing but random projections of the subconscious that literally make no sense. I'd rather focus on problems in your waking life that MAY be the cause of whatever is bothering you and if possible seek help. Good luck tho.

All my problems are in the subconscious.

That's because the subconscious is a total arsehole. It reflects your anxieties, insecurities, fears, and traumas and anything you're trying to hide away or suppress in your conscious state of being right back at you. It's the brain's way of trying to get rid of negative emotions. Don't get me wrong... I'm not trying to assume anything about you, I'm just stating the facts how they are for everyone. Just like me and everyone else, you'll continue to have negative dreams as long as you're alive and nothing will change that.
