JASG I really checked out all the photos and reviews...vegan leather and real leather...nice.
You're pretty tall? Still good? Sounds it. Good.
This is really some inspired design.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

The indents for the feet and wings for knee support also take any stress off the knees and the feet sit very naturally in the indents.

Granted I only spent 15 minutes but it was truly effortless and I'll give it 30 minutes this evening. All in all my initial impression is it's easily worth the price.

Looks like a nice chair. How do you like it after 30 minutes? I ask as I have a pretty weak lower back (Sciatica). I usually sit with my legs crossed and use a wall for support.

I'm 6' on the nose and it's not a problem whatsoever. That was one of the things I wasn't sure about as it only comes in one size.

Just sat for 30 minutes and it was a breeze. I was actually surprised because I do use the back of a chair for support. I don't lean back into it but lightly rest my back against it. During the sit I tested upright position a few different ways and about halfway through found an optimal position where I wasn't leaning back or slumping forward and I found myself naturally maintaining that posture for the remainder of the sit and without effort or any muscle strain and without even thinking about it. It was just finding the exact balance between leaning back and slumping forward.

Prior to this trying to sit in half lotus using all manner of combinations of cushions/blankets I could never find that effortless position, not to mention relieving stress on the knees. This was amazingly comfortable without even a hint of stress on my knees or tension in my back muscles.

I have to give this two thumbs up!

The Goal of Meditation

https://youtu.be/E0JGS0ZEods?list=RD...zyLD9RJmbBUV9Q

Swami Sarvapriyananda speaks on the goal of meditation by teaching the differences between yogic and vedantic techniques. This discourse is from a retreat on Vedantic Meditation held in Monroe, NY in 2018.

I took a few pictures and these might give a better sense of scale than the advertising pictures. https://www.amazon.com/photos/shared...JxL2TsEJVMjEhM

I usually listen to Tibetan bowls when I meditate. Just bought these headphones that are tucked inside a breathable headband. If you use music like I do.. this headband is the most comfortable set of headphones I've ever used.

I just use one of these tracks and turn up the volume on the PC speakers as it's two rooms away from where I meditate. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...zUW-wKgrAMfKE-

Here's my theory behind it. If I can't focus on an object of attending while meditating and with other external distractions occurring then I have no chance of maintaining that meditative state outside of formal sitting.

There was a time when I would have two closed doors between me and my dog while meditating but no longer. In fact he gets quite excited when I tell him it's time to meditate and it only takes him a few minutes to find a place next to me and settle down. He usually naps the entire time but on occasion will get up and run outside barking if he hears something.

Nice too see your home gym. I hope the chair and the weights get much use.
