voice of God?

Need help understanding an occurence. I woke up to a male's voice saying "Noah awoke.". I thought my ears deceived me but when I asked in my head if I heard what I just did the voice said it again, "Noah awoke." Here is tbe clincher, the voice sounded like that of a giant the size of the empire state building, (a skyscraper), but without yelling. I couldn't believe my husband didn't wake up that's how loud this voice was. Any thoughts on what Noah awoke means?

Well, if your name is not Noah, and you didn't just have a dream about Noah, and you don't know any Noah's, maybe the answer will come to you later. Funny how the question and the answer are on different vibrations, so just ask what it meant, and go on about your life, and when you are having really happy thoughts, an answer may appear.

It does sound to me like a spirit - probably a guide is my hunch, and when they learn to communicate using our language, there are adjustments on both sides, so it could be your guides need to adjust the volume knob a bit - how curious you say a giant sound, I love that image.

I have felt, upon awakening a few times, like some part so my body were giant - like my hands mostly. And I have had guides speak to me right as I drift off to sleep, and then have had some wild dreams.

But the only time I heard a voice upon awakening, it was someone saying my name - and there was no one around but my husband, sound asleep next to me, so I know it wasn't him. It was a very loud sound as well, but if you are not Noah, well - that's intriguing.

Hopefully you aren't going to be the NEXT Noah. What continent did you say you lived on ? :)

Indeed, I was once given a Koan in a dream and it took 10 years to figure out the meaning. Maybe I'm slow, maybe these things just take time, who knows?

My name is not Noah nor do I know of any Noahs other than in the catholic bible. I'm on the east coast of the united states.

When I was a young teenager first getting into spiritual practices, I was laying in bed meditating in a fairly deep state of consciousness when I felt a hand grasp my shoulder gently and I heard a male voice say, "I'm proud of you my son." It seemed telepathic, as if the voice was an auditory manifestation of the thought that I received, although the hand contact seemed to be on an energetic level, like a spirit touching my energy body. Anyway, it's hard to say where these voices come from, or why it happens. Many of these messages could be meaningless for all we know. It's probably best not to invest too much into it.
