Thank you!! The people like your friend, Paul, are a real treasure for our world, this was the end of his journey here, on Earth, he had to go. I've learnt that there are so many sings when someone close is going to pass away that you just can't ignore the fact that we are all connected at some levels beyond our understanding.

Hello ThatMan... Again Thank You for your kind words, And it is so very true. There definateley are so many signs prior to the passing of a loved one. I think maybe sometimes we do know , certainly subconsciously but perhaps won't allow our conscious mind to acknowledge because we know it will be painful. None of us ever want to lose a loved one do we? Even though we do actually know that in real terms there is no death. Just the soul departing on the next phase of its journey. I am expecting Paul to visit me, as and when he is able, to show me how well and happy he is.

....And Thank you all so much on this thread for your support and guidance . Very much appreciated during difficult days. I do feel however that there will be more to tell in time!

Hi . So I got in touch with local paper yesterday who were still undecided as to whether they could run a story about Paul as they had received no contact with his family ( they live hundreds of miles away). It was getting to point of people becoming quite anxious. I submitted my tribute for him on the proviso that they might not be able to publish for this week , as they still needed confirmation. We were all at a loss , because none of us could contact his family. Then out of the blue my son... Whom Never reads the news or searches the local internet messaged me to say "mum .. I've found a link to Paul... Shall I send it?".. so he did , and would you believe there was an e-mail address for Paul's family. I rang the local paper, told them, and asked whether I should that with their permission you can run a story . They were over moon saying "yes please"... So I did. Sent lovely e mail about Paul and also about the paper. Within the hour I received a call from paper to tell me they had been in touch and Paul's story will appear on front page of paper this week. The son that sent me the message... With said e- mail address was Matthew. It was cometely out if character and don't even know how he saw the info ..... But what I do know is this .... Matt and Matthew have both appeared on this thread. I would like to think that they are working "together" even if my Matthew does not realise. Divine intervention?? I would love to think so!

Hello all. Beautiful front page article about Paul in our weekly newspaper. Some lovely tributes on the bereavement page. And also a full page story inside of his life growing up with photos from when he was little. He was not expected to live beyond one year old you see. He was 73 when he passed (slightly older than I thought)...He delivered the newspapers for myself and the previous owners for almost 25 years. He never missed a day. He never took a holiday, even when we tried to force him to take one. 25 days off in 25 years, those being all the Christmas days. Amazing man. Thank you all for sharing this with me and especially Matt X
