Haha.... I guess you're not a fan then LOL.
But I take in board your comments and like the way you express them with humour....
Hmm... It's making me think maybe they could add stand up comedy to the events ?
Now, I never actually saw any of the break dancing , and when my husband told me he had watched some I thought he was having me on .
But he promised me it was true.
Would it be classed as "sport?"...
Probably not.
But I DO know that they do have to be incredibly fit and I know that they have to practice such a lot .
And it really could well be that they are trying to attract a younger audience .
There are young teenage Olympians that do skateboarding and bmx-ing.
And whether we agree with it or not , if it gives youngsters enthusiasm to train for the Olympics and gives them a focus.
A goal to aim for then I don't think that can be a bad thing.
We know that each "generation" is different.
Sometimes my kids seem like aliens to me with all their technology and the way they do things, just the same as their children will to them.
Can you even begin to imagine what will be included in the Olympics in another 20/ 30 years or so !!!!
On a personnal note, I love football and quite enjoy watching tennis.
I'm not fussed about golf or rugby , but I would be happy to NOT see any of these events in the Olympics even though they are obvious sports.
My opinion is that they have enough platforms in other areas which are big world events.

Paralympics finished yesterday.
I enjoyed this last fortnight so much.
All of the paralymians were fantastic.
The medal table was amazing ..
Top 10 are as follows...
China = 220 medals ( 94 gold)
Great Britain= 124 medals ( 49 gold)
USA = 105 medals ( 36 gold)
Netherlands= 56 medals ( 27 gold)
Brazil = 89 medals ( 25 gold)
Italy = 71 medals ( 24 gold )
Ukraine = 82 medals ( 22 gold)
France = 75 medals ( 19 gold)
Australia = 63 medals ( 18 gold)
Japan = 41 medals ( 14 gold)....
But all of the 75 nations taking part won medals.
Again, I think France has done the most amazing job of hosting these Olympics and Paralympics....
It's been a pure joy to watch.
