There are many methods but I just want to share a few that I have learned (one from Medical Medium and another is from a member from another forum) that have been very helpful. From Medical Medium, he suggests going to the beach, sitting on the shore and letting the waves wash on you, and as it does, you can say in your mind or quietly to yourself that you are washing away your depression, for example. I've also found through my own experience that you can do this while taking a shower. I've learned that other things you can cleanse are: negative thoughts and emotions (it helps to name them - anger, frustration, etc), negative entity attachments, if you are experiencing mental illness (when I do this, I include mental illness (the general term), as well as anything specific such as depression, etc); worrying/over-worrying/over-thinking, fears, nightmares. I have found that doing each multiple times is needed. Unfortunately, this isn't a magical method that eliminates the issue after one session. It just washes it away layer by layer. I do this exercise every time I shower as things can return or build up between showers.

The other method I learned is that when you are taking a shower, imagine that you have a tap faucet on your back where your solar plexus chakra is. Imagine or silently say, open up my solar plexus faucet. Then imagine anything and everything that is no longer for your highest good to drain out the faucet. At the end of your shower you just imagine turning off the faucet.

Indeed visualisation is helpful to cleansing and consciousness correction. But what happens after the shower is over? Where are we then, through the rest of the day?
