Theres also a kind of thing called a ikiryo and also a eidolon might fall along those lines.

Pretty sure my TF [or karmic? -sigh of frustration-] got mad at me a lot because I wouldnt accept that I was telepathic too.

As with the word 'mediumship', what's meant by 'channeling' can also be confusing at times and can vary between individuals.

Communication with discarnates - so-called spirits - happens by telepathy whether it's called mediumship or channeling. It doesn't much matter what level of discarnates you're communicating with or what names you give 'em or their apparent spiritual status. It's telepathy.

Communication with the animating spirits of certain incarnate individuals seems well known. I say that from the perspective of someone who once doubted its veracity! Again it's telepathy and some incarnates are able to contact other incarnates that way and routinely they tell us..... I have no reason to doubt them. But is that way of communication seen as channeling?

to me channeling comes as a knowing wherein telemetry is an actual conversation between two.
