Some people get upset when a new translation renders some expressions differently then 'their' Bible renders them.

Lets talk about scriptures that have been 'corrected' and the reason for the change. Please also include scriptures that have been actually removed.
to look into this a little deeper. What is a/ an holy kiss? Is it ment in the physical or spiritual sense?

A kiss to bring about peace, forgiveness and forgetting of transgressions. The kiss was not on the lips but on the checks. Some people still practice this 'act' even today.

just with that verse there's so much to be interpreted. Me being a smart but and thinking physical my first response was is the kiss with or without tongue. But seriously I took it as something spiritual. I have seen people do this but never understand why. "Just a cultural thing". But I would not have interpreted it like you mentioned. Learn something everyday.

Just a simple example to Christians that think some things are 'certain way and that is IT, by golly'!
Ah, not really.
Your comments bring up the interesting topic "What is Paradise...... as it relates to the Bible?"

Thank you for bringing up that 'comma example'...it is profound...to me.
What is Paradise as spoken of in the Bible, BJ.
I never did a study on that.
Good topic.

Psalm 46 - count down 46 words, count up 46 words...an homage from King James to Shakespeare who was 46 at that time.

I just noticed this post......

it makes you wonder what other 'secrets' might be lurking in the original King James Bible.

Good topic.

Did you ever look it up in the New Testament?
Which proves it is a timeless situation.
As inferred to us by the many NDE accounts.

Which is also a spiritual and angelic situation..
