strange scents and smells

Spirit let people know that they are around by Smells some smell perfume some smell aftershave flowers. etc including food.

...As Native said above.... Also cigar or tobacco smell is very common too..... Loved ones in spirit just wishing you to know they are well, and happy.

One time i connected with an angel and it was smelling 'cedar'.I did a search about him and i found out that others had the same experience as well.

Me too.. Once I was walking through the forest when I felt this incredible parfume, it lasted a moment then it disappeared..

Lately, I have been hearing my name being called out loud.. and I actually stop and look around to see who is calling me..

We were walking around a lake, close to the water and suddenly I smelled strawberries! It was lovely.

When you mentioned this, it reminded me of the Spirit Houses Southeastern Asians have where the Spirit House looks better then the living person's house, so the spirit(s) go and live in the Spirit House. The living provide those spirits with cigarettes, alcohol, and other such things such as Hell Money.

Something else i remembered from Josephine about the 'sulfur' smell some people reported.
She says that sometimes it's the body's defence mechanism to drive away underworld beings and forces.
(The smell it's similar to burnt matches or something).

I've smelled and tasted food. Also, smelled flowers. I don't think anything of it.

I have been smelling strong cigarette smoke for the past few years, since my Mum died. I assumed it was her since she was a smoker but it was much stronger than her smokes, I was smelling something closer to a cigar or pipe. I figured that since I have almost no sense of smell, maybe she had to beef up the smell for me.

I asked a psychic who it was and she said my Grandfather who had been with me my entire life. I've never met my grandparents so I had to check the dates to see which one it could be. As a test, I asked a second person who was making the cigarette smoke and he also said my Grandfather. I still need to confirm whether he was a smoker or not but I am following up on that.

Spirits will use smells to get our attention since we often associate memories with smells. I also think we are less likely to ignore a smell and there's less sensory interference with smells when compared to sound and sight.
