Is The Circlemakers' Conduit Still Ajar?

There was a time, not too long ago, when the most talked-about topic within the paranormal community was crop formations. Practically every second thread within a forum dedicated to the unexplained contained heated discussions as to whether this phenomenon was a mare's nest or a nine-days wonder.

On the one hand you had the naysayers who pointed to barflies with boards; on the other, you had the croppies and their overuse of words like transcendental and genuine.

Fast-forward a few years to our present time. Crop circles seem to be the farthest thing from the paranormalist's mind. Is this because the prediction of the negators has proven itself accurate?

Was it all just a fleeting attraction that has gone the way of a mediagenic headline, or are these otherworldly circlemakers still attempting pictorial communication, albeit in dwindling fashion?

Southern England was at one time a hotspot for this former conversation-starter. I am curious to know whether this remains the case.

There also seems to have been a decrease in the amount of books published on this in recent years. As to what may account for this, again it may be a case of the circlemakers having abandoned the conduit that was.

Back in the heyday of crop circle activity, there was all this talk of coded messages, unknown intelligences, numinous experiences, and spiritual awakenings. In hindsight, it now starts to sound like a lot of ado.

What has become of the interest and enthusiasm that was once such a trendy topic but only a decade ago?

Colin Andrews. Lucy Pringle. Nancy Talbott. Where are they now?

I remember those crop circles - all the talk at one time, now we've had 3 years of brexit - now virus, then another possible couple of years social distancing, bring it back I say, the chat on that it was interesting and intriguing - what a change from whats going on now, make us stronger through this if it's any consolation lol...
