I see Jesus as my guru and a guru/teacher.

Having had a living guru for 35 yrs...I know you either do what he advises or you do not.
It really is that simple.
So when I opened my first Bible in Jan 2006...(already having decades of super profound exps extraordinaire...).
I saw clearly what he was saying to do....I saw the entire message and theme. (Actually my mouth dropped when I realized his message.)
Did it...24/7.
And my life is what it is today because of it.

Now, I counseled many Christians and what I saw was,
"They never did the littlest thing consistently that Jesus clearly said to do."
Not ONE thing.
Thus, their lives were so screwed up! And needlessly!

Something happens when you serve and do what a guru says.
Mainly - discipline.
And that is key.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

You don't need faith, that's the beauty of any guru/teacher or Jesus.
DO what they say ...and see for yourself.

(I can help anyone if they want it. It would take one post.
And you would not have to be a Christian, per se.
Or follow anything you didn't want to.)

Miserable, confused, things not working out in your life?
I'll help ya - just to ease into following some
instructions about this life that Jesus clued us into.

Jesus is a good one and I always admired and respected His teachings as best and directly as I understood them. The path I now follow only reinforces my understanding of His teachings. Swami Vivekananda was also a great admirer of Jesus and His teachings.

Lol! Not true. You have faith in your own critical thinking skills and being able to analyze ideas. Nothing whatsoever wrong with that!

Ok

Make a list of all the suggestions Jesus made.
You can call them instructions, advice, commands, directives or clues.
Too much? Make a list of, say, 5-6, then.

Now, pick one for 2 full weeks...dedicate most every minute of your days
to following whichever you chose.
It could be, 'Seek the Kingdom of Heaven first....'
Every minute.
Could be, 'Do not worry' ...about anything, (as in 'be anxious for nothing'...)
2 weeks, any worry that comes into your head out of habit...banish it,
laugh at it ---trust in your Father.
And so on.
Check in with me if you need help or suggestions to the list.

Once you do the list, we might turn to our brother Paul and start doing what he has suggested...
Like: Focus on the things above and not the things on the earth...
or Pray without ceasing...

You just do those.
Later, we may practice some clues from the Old Testament...like:
Acknowledging Him in all your ways..
Later:
Delight in the Lord for 2 full weeks ---waking and falling asleep and all throughout the day.

I can be your support or inspiration or coach. These are the secrets of how to live and be here...written in plain sight.
