The key to finding love that lasts is to discover the endless spring of love within your own inner heart. Then someone to love may come along also, but you're not sitting around waiting for that in order to feel love.

Oceans are crossable.

If was in that guy's shoes I would not let something as insignificant as an ocean, language or age barrier, custom, race, religion, creed, family or anything else stop me from being with the one I love.

Of course getting there is the easy part. The hard part is figuring out how to stay; how support the one you wish to be with, and deal with the reality of the place in which they live.

In this world reality catches up to all of us eventually, forced on us by society, the one's we love, or upon ourselves.

Well he already was away before the ocean came into play, so I guess if before he didn't listen to his feelings when he was physically closer, they may seem meaningless to him now that we are in different continents.

But I totally agree with what you say, there's nothing in this world that could stop me from being with the one I love, and if it meant changing my plans and going somewhere different from what I had planned, I'd do it, if I was sure about those feeling I would leave everything behind and be with that person. I rather have love than money, well I won't mind having some money, but still love would be more fulfilling than being loaded.

I had a rather different experience. Since this "moment" occurred I've had a number of people, both men and women randomly walk up to me at different times to express their love for me, completely out of nowhere. I swear. No reasons given. That never happened before. So that is also kind of a weird thing. I don't know what to make of it. I believe it is directly related to what happened in the "moment", but maybe its not. It's all just weird.
