When are past and future lives planned?

I've heard different things about this. One is that the next life is planned while in Heaven. Another is that someone while living here already say they know their next life.

All the main parts of your future life are planned before you incarnate. When you incarnate, you have free will, so most of the plans are forgotten about, however,*circumstances*lead you down the right path.
IMO,nobody alive knows their next life even though they think they do.

From what I can gather ( and who am I anyway ??? LOL), I believe it is pre-destined before birth whilst still in the heavens.

The only thing I worry about is this .....
I am already saying "next time I dont want ????".... Or "next time I DO want ??? "......
So will this happen next time round because I've said it now ???

As example, what if I'm saying "next time I don't want to get married and have kids "..... Is that what will happen ?
But then in my next life I want all that but I can't have it because of random thoughts in this life ??
Sorry if it's a bit garbled. I'm on a screen no bigger than a large postage stamp.

I think it all depends on what you want to achieve ie in the next like you may be of the opposite sex,but as you said, who am I to know?

They do say be careful what you wish for ! But I don't know if that carries over to the next life ....

So many questions and not enough answers ....
Its bad enough trying to figure out why we're here in the first place without all the stress and worry about the next life...
And the next .....
And the next ...etc, etc ,etc ,

Hi, if this really interests you - look up Chico Xavier. Or try to see "Astral City- A Spiritual Journey'' based on his work with those on the Other Side.
What people call Heaven is so nice they call it that...but it's more the In-between place we hang out in before incarnating again.
From all reports from mediums and such...we keep learning there...a lot!
When it's time, with our guides, we discuss what life would be 'good' for us...
What is it we need and are ready to learn there.

Example, from Robert Schwartz's team, (those able to communicate with the Other Side)---this is a good one as an example --
-There was girl whose mom used a shotgun to commit suicide. That life she spent very traumatized.
So this life it was discussed: It was mutually agreed upon with all those involved - she would come back deaf,
so she would not be anxious (terrified) of loud sounds, she could just relax ...it was also planned she would be
surrounded by many loving pets to comfort her here.
Oh, the relief for her. :)

I can vouch for that In-between place personally...and the discussions -
so everything Rob's team say - I believe.

And, of course, we have all the work Michael Newton, PhD did re the In-between place.

Yes I think you are correct Miss H. Because I’ve also read Newtons books and many others who have dealt with the in between state. Delores Cannon has spent almost thirty years hypnotising many different people from all over the world where she has taken them back to that in between state before their birth into the present moment.

It makes you wonder how so many people who are from so many different cultures/religions/countries are all saying the same thing! So I guess there’s gotta be some truth to it!

The usual described scenario is that having discarded the physical body of this incarnation then at some stage we have a life review where we see our life on Earth from a greater perspective.

We see our behaviour and how others were affected by whatever we did. We see our decisions and the consequences of these decisions. We understand what we incarnated to learn, and we see where we have succeeded and where we have fallen short.

There are many accounts of people under hypnosis being progressed forward to a future life, or some people may have psychic glimpses of a future life.

I suggest that this is a different scenario. Any view of future events is based on whichever potential future is most likely to manifest depending on current tendencies. If current tendencies change then the probable future will also change. And the further ahead in time we are looking, the greater the possibility that the actual future will differ from the foreseen future.

Which may be why so many psychic predictions fail to manifest, even those predictions of genuine seers such as Edgar Cayce. They can only describe the most likely future based on current conditions. If current conditions change then the future will also change.

And maybe this also applies to visions of future lives. We see a potential future incarnation based on our current condition. This future life has not yet been planned, and it may well be modified depending on whatever we achieve (or don't achieve) during the remainder of this lifetime.

Just a possible explanation.
