I recently read that some of the stories in Chicken Soup for the Soul are a work of fiction. When I read the story of the kid in the basement. It rang true to me. My story happened 2 months ago. I didn't have enough funds to spend on birdseed. So I asked divine spirit for help in this matter. In less than a week, I was at a building store that also carries bird seed. Looking at the seed and seeing the high prices. I poked around and notice plastic bags of seed in a garbage can. They had holes in them. I talked to the guy and he let me have the seed for 7.50. There was about 75 pounds of seed or more. It was the more expensive kind of seed. Over a 100 dollars worth. Thank you divine spirit. I asked for the seed. But I did my due diligence in searching for it. It is all in the ask.

Great story, and what you can do once you can do again and again. The Divine actively WANTS you to ask for things. It is willing and able to provide you with anything you want, but so many of us don’t ask. We just get concerned with the problem, rather than with the solution. I have always been told, focus on what God can do for you…which is anything. God/the Universe etc acts according to what you believe it will do. Point to remmeber here: HE GIVES TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE.
