Illusion?

I don't think I said this way back.
Illusion means to me the same as it would on a magician's stage....
Making something seem to be something that it really isn't.

If 2 cards seem to disappear...the cards still exist.
This place exists ---BUT ---it is something different than it appears to be.

This place, this 3D world is not a mirage---a mirage doesn't exist...it is a distortion of vision in the mind.
This world exists.

I think this has been an issue for some ---when saying, ''This world is not real.''
It's just something different than it appears to be...in that sense the thing we see and touch is not actually what it is, thus not 'real'.

But it exists....as a chair, as a tree, as a flower that has scent.
It is something else... looking like a chair, a tree and a flower.


(And I don't say this lightly - it is 1 of the most profound things I can say. It is joyous to me!)

I agree that this physical-reality isn't what it appears to be.

I also agree that this physical-reality exists, but only subjectively, not objectively.

The second point is what confuses some people, calling it "illusion", in the "made-up" sense.

As I understand it, there isn't a physical-reality out there that we perceive; there isn't "something else... looking like a chair, a tree and a flower". Every participant in this physical-reality (not only humans) creates their own individual virtual reality, from the telepathic connections with all the other participants in this physical-reality framework. Those realities are far from identical.

The physical-reality is on the same level with the dream-reality, somewhat simpler because it has more stringent primary assumptions (what we consider truths).
