It doesn’t interest me
what you do for a living.
I want to know
what you ache for
and if you dare to dream
of meeting your heart’s longing.
It doesn’t interest me
how old you are.
I want to know*
if you will risk*
looking like a fool
for love
for your dream
for the adventure of being alive.
It doesn’t interest me
what planets are*
squaring your moon...
I want to know
if you have touched
the centre of your own sorrow
if you have been opened
by life’s betrayals
or have become shrivelled and closed
from fear of further pain.
I want to know
if you can sit with pain
mine or your own
without moving to hide it
or fade it
or fix it.
I want to know
if you can be with joy
mine or your own
if you can dance with wildness
and let the ecstasy fill you*
to the tips of your fingers and toes
without cautioning us
to be careful
to be realistic
to remember the limitations
of being human.
It doesn’t interest me
if the story you are telling me
is true.
I want to know if you can
disappoint another
to be true to yourself.
If you can bear
the accusation of betrayal
and not betray your own soul.
If you can be faithless
and therefore trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not pretty
every day.
And if you can source your own life
from its presence.
I want to know
if you can live with failure
yours and mine
and still stand at the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon,
“Yes.”
It doesn’t interest me
to know where you live
or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up
after the night of grief and despair
weary and bruised to the bone
and do what needs to be done
to feed the children.
It doesn’t interest me
who you know
or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand
in the centre of the fire
with me
and not shrink back.
It doesn’t interest me
where or what or with whom
you have studied.
I want to know*
what sustains you
from the inside
when all else falls away.
I want to know
if you can be alone*
with yourself
and if you truly like
the company you keep
in the empty moments.

If could manifest characteristics of a "Soulmate" than I would want a someone with a nice speaking deep voice . That's not too low or too high (not someone with singer Barry White's voice). a Guy's speaking voice can be arousing and their vernacular.
I don't know what I really want to be honest I have never been a relationship . I'm going to end up someone the opposite of what I'm attracted anyway.

Agree,it's more that sometimes what people write,it invokes a song within myself and or lyrics.

I hope I have the traits and I'm also the "Ideal " person for a potential soul connection too. I can't manifest on how I want my soul connection's physical appearance to be. I can list qualities I'd want them to have though.

The traits I'd hope my soul connection would have is: Swag ,(good sense of fashion) Chill vibe, (easy to talk to )Creative (artistic or music), likes animals, (not just canines).

I'll just leave manifesting a "soulmate" to the Universe sense they know what kind of potential partner I need the best. If I were to manifest what I'd hope for them to physically look like, and to sound like (having an attractive speaking voice) Which is weird cause I never card about the way a guy talked before not until I heard this one person speak . A person's speaking voice can really make or break someone .

it would be shallow on my end. And what I like in a guy is probably someone I don't need and our lifestyles are not compatible with each other.

So whomever the universe has in store for me is what I'll take. Some people are meant to be in our lives for reason and lesson though. At least that is how the saying goes I wonder what lessons have I taught former friends ? that are not in my life or vice versa.

Everyone who is in your life, in the present moment, is your soul mate. That includes an elemental being, like a wall or stone. All the way up to higher density beings like god consciousness or whatever.

Sure its fun to play the manifestation game. And pretend like realisation is not the name of the game and like we don't know it. "Because we are here to suffer. It says so in our contract." etc, etc.

These games of despair are getting too old and stale for my taste.
