Melanin..
Melanin is a form of battery. It absorbs energy from ultra violet sun rays, sound, and pretty much anything. When it wears and tears, it makes the skin pale-ish, and hair silver. I've read that meditation calms the melanin release, so exactly what melanin?
Blue eyes would be cool

Melanin is carbon and carbon is everything. The universe is full of it (understatement). Anything you'd like to know about it specifically?

Yes. Thank you.
Why does melanin decrease as we age or become sick? And not necessarily, I've seen middle-aged young people with white hair, a sign of no melanin pigment. I read melanin is life or something like that so I want to learn.

I'm super late on this one.
I don't know who you refer to when you say we. The lack of melanin denotes sickness. When one is sick he/she becomes pale. When one is dead the melanin dissipates and one becomes pale.
There can be many reasons for white hair on a middle aged person and it goes back to bodily stress and/or sickness.
