Anyone else here going through Konmari?

I read "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up" by Marie Kondo a couple months ago and nothing, has gotten me more excited for cleaning up.

For those who don't know, Konmari is a method to help clear your space of clutter and organize neatly what you do have. It sounds dull, until she asks that magic question: "Does it spark joy?"

The way she speaks and shows such respect to objects really resonates with me and fills me with a desire to create a tidy, relaxing home like I've always wanted. Once you get rid of the things that don't spark joy in you, all you have at home when you enter are the things that truly fill you with joy!

I'm currently at the papers step. I've had a few extra hurdles because I live in a roommate situation and most of my things are in storage, but it's been such a blessing and I can just feel my inner energy breathing for the first time. I'm even looking into home decor!

I was just wondering if anyone else here had gone through the process, and what it does for you spiritually and physically.

I live with my mum and she throws anything away which is not necessary. So I am inclined to hang onto my belongings. But I can see that having a clean living space is very beneficial.
