The moon

Hi everyone,

The last couple days things about the moon, whether it be a fact I read somewhere, or a quote on social media/in a picture/even written on a pillow (I've seen a few different ones) has really been drawn to my attention. I guess I'm wondering if like animal totems are there any messages or signs that I should be considering when I see these things? I often connect the moon to 'my person' but we aren't in contact right now. Maybe it has something to do with him? Thoughts?

I always think of the tarot interpretation of the moon symbol, which is all about the things that are deep in our subconscious that we can't see. The moon is about all that is hidden. The phrase that comes to mind is "What lies beneath."




The moon is also a powerful cosmic force. Each phase of the moon gives off a certain energy. That is why people who practice magick, cast spells in accordance with the cycles of the moon.

Thanks Awakened Queen. It's funny because I used to pull the Moon card a lot but now I'm not pulling is often at all (9 of pents seems to be a strong card right now...) so I hadn't thought of connecting it to tarot. I was thinking about the moon cycles and the renewal that comes with it so maybe that's part of what I need to pay attention to right now. Also I've always been drawn to the moon in the sense that two people could be so far away but looking at the same thing. Kind of a nice thought I suppose. Just curious! :)
