Sorry, I see my previous post, quoting you, did not appear with my message.
I wanted to applaud you for highlighting the difference between psychic and spiritual e.g. you can be psychic without being remotely spiritual!
That so many think psychic and spiritual are one and the same. I hope your post serves to clarify the difference!

Well, i have one explanation, which is based on and from materialistic point of view:
This explanation is what you learn in the "SIlva Ultramind" course.
People's brain operation during the daytime is in the "beta" frequency range.
Alpha, delta and theta ranges are as well possible.
Theta being the operational mode of Sleep.
If you manage to lower your brains frequency during the day time (which is happening naturally, anyway) and use it, you may get to the place where clairvoyants, psychics and other "Super intelligent people" are.
(P.s. Do not quote me here, im talking from memory and some information may not be 100% accurate)

My mind opened to the extent of telepathy; clairvoyance; clairaudience, precognition, only at age 45 after 10 years hard work including an esoteric 7-month meditation to clear out my chakras of past life stuff. NB such a meditation is only advisable AFTER intensive personal development (self-healing) work, given that very few escape childhood trauma.
Such trauma means we shut down psychologically and psychically in childhood. Of course we are ALL spiritual: but 'awareness' is different.

Being psychic doesn't mean being happy, and not being psychic doesn't mean being depressed.
Sometimes I like building stuffs, or drawing, or doing physical activity, and being clair-something doesn't bring much.
Of course when I do creative activities, it's better to have a good intuition, but a good intuition doesn't make a person "psychic". |

Ditto! but i will ad the animals have these abilities, Rupert Sheldrake wrote a book about how cats and dogs know when there pet humans are coming home with years of lab data and how some animals learn from others in other parts of the world using a kind of cloud consciousness and plants too, hes definitely worth a gander. you wont be dissapointed
