Crows
So we had owls...how about crows?
I have recently bought a crow oracle deck because I've always loved crows and their mystical symbolism. I see a lot of carrion crows where I live. They are such intelligent birds, they seem to know which humans are safe and which aren't.
Crows are to some people a bad omen as they can symbolise death. I see them as representing magic, the subconscious, the shadow, and transformation, as out of black comes all potential. They have an inherent beauty to me that makes me stop and talk to every one I see.

I don't either. I love the mystery of crows. There's definitely an otherworldly essence about them.
I'm hoping that maybe using my oracle deck will bring on some experiences with neighbourhood crows...who knows!

That's lovely Native Spirit.
I'm not sure what my spirit animals are, but I feel a deep love for birds, especially crows, but I suppose any birds really. I love the freedom they represent.

I feed a group of crows every morning. I'm amazed at all of the different sounds they make to each other. One sound actually sounds like a machine.

Crows certainly have a very distinctive sound. I love how they call to each other when there's food around.
