Cathartic practise : Osho chakra breathing meditation
It's quite an intense practise, probably not for the faint of heart. People who practise it regularly during 6 to 12 months say it has a deep healing effect in your life, emotional well being, expressing and healing repressed emotions, making the energy circulate again in your system, help being less stressed, less anxious, more able to express and be yourself, being more enthusiastic...
It's intense, rapid breathing during 45 min (3x15 min) then 15 min peaceful, silent meditation.

Rapid breathing for that long...wow,
I wouldn't be doing that...I could think of other ways if one had anxiety, personally.
Sorry, most people didn't know Rajneesh when he was alive...
can't watch these videos. Don't ask.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

It's not exactly the same but has a lot of similarity with holotropic breathwork, rebirth, biodynamic breathwork. I've not tried those mentioned but I've always been curious after I found a book on rebirth were people told they re-lived their birth, or had life changing experience, healing trauma and many things... I've heard this breathing techniques can also be used to heal military who go home with PTSD.
I did not know Osho, I'm aware of the controversy and I don't know exactly what happened or not. I guess we have to take the best and leave the rest. I remember several years ago I was reading a book by Nisargadatta and he talked very highly about Osho.
"Rajneesh is not a small personality or small principal.
He is tremendous.
He is very big.
He is a great sage.
But – When you already have a guru,
why do you visit other sages?"
