running,

I think you misunderstand to say that you can't understand safety and precautions without fear. One does not need fear to make those determinations, right? It's not necessarily that there are no emotions as much as if they are moving you or not.

It is a pity that you regard those things which do not conform to your experience as "anti-human" but I suppose it's normal to fear that which is not understood.

Move, but don't move the way fear makes you move.
Rumi

Thanks, as I said, I respect your style, which is not to say that I always agree with it.

my perspective is from bliss and silence. if bliss is in all emotions i don't see them as a problem but as part of the living experience. in the process things such as fear can block it. after the process and to a certain point of development emotions or the mind can not block it. i have found in life logical decisions usually have better results than ones based upon excitement or fear. emotions are part of the equation.

As one's mind becomes quieter, the person starts to experience the various states of Jhana which might include various forms of Siddhis.

What advice is given to a person experiencing this so that they will continue to experience 'things' as they continue to quiet the mind?

How quiet can the mind become?

To me, this is the realm of Magick and a place for the fearless.

when one is open to beyond mind it is not a doing or effort. its more like a vacuum cleaner or a black hole. you have no choice. emotions play no role. they can actually deepen the experience as emotions may expand the energetic body. its not about the emotion its about being open.

during the process one may become open to beyond mind if they are not stressed. or emotions may close the opening. the goal is to be open. its got to get to a point where things can't obstruct being open. or things just open you more as a defense mechanism.

depends upon what works for the person. meditation works for most people. its also good imo to connect with people whom experience the same spiritual gifts so they can share what they experience and feel normal.

Who wants to feel normal?

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Continued.

During the process of opening to silence or after one is open to silence one can open to a point the silence is overwhelming ones ability to operate properly. Everyone i have known has times like this. The system has to catch up with the growth. its a process.
