Opening Chakras?

i think completely closing or opening all the chakras are incorrect action, according to our feelings and status we have to balance them, not close them all or open them all, cause normally, energy have to flow throw them, but for some cases, yes we have to close them or open them, for example, i myself open all chakras for cleaning and pulling out the bad energies, then balance them with each other, till feel good and comfort with them.

Not being able to edit my last post, I'm creating a new one just to say: There are also the tan tiens, where the energy lines associated with these funtions meet. These are, where my understanding is at the moment, another word for chakra.

I myself do not know.

I just know as my spiritual intention became more strong as to know my true Self they began to open on there own.

Its really a beautiful thing.
