I asked my spiritual guides for a sign and I got it
My ex recently got in contact and wanted to rekindle things. I asked my spiritual guides to show me a purple dragon if I should pursue it, or show me a blue balloon if I should not. So I got on reddit about 3 hours later, and one of the first posts I saw was a video of a guy standing on top of a blue hot air balloon. I'm amazed, definitely going to take the advice lol. I'm pretty sure it is for the best.

That's so cool!
I use a technique I was taught...I could make it easier even...but I like it:
I stand - address my guide buddies - I lean fwd and say to them -
''this is a Yes''. I lean back ---''this is a No''.
"Should I blank?"
And there is a definite push either way.

If that works for you, then fine!
With dilemmas I go two ways:
1. When possible, I approach it from the perspective of what I want to be / happen, and not to react to what's happening. I mean I choose to create the reality I want, and not to react to the one created by the others. In your case, you're reacting to the reality your ex created: contacted you with the intention to rekindle things.
2. When I consult my inner-guidance, being it either my inner-guide, or my intuition, I firstly go into a light trance, then I ask the question and I usually receive an answer. If I don't receive one, it means that my question doesn't make sense, and I reformulate it. What you did might be an accurate higher-guidance, or just a coin-flip.

I think it is an accurate higher guidance with the feeling I got after seeing it, I felt something there that was stronger than me, giving me strength. Other times I have asked them for signs and never got them, too. This time it happened within 2-3 hours.

At first I thought I'd follow the advice from my spiritual guides, but I caved to her advances. I regret it because it ended up where I was laying here crying today, and I told God to take my relationship with my ex today, not even 30 minutes later, she blocked me suddenly.
I'm just wondering if this sounds karmic? She was really abusive, and I loved her too much, and now I feel better since she blocked me.
God and my spiritual guides never listen this intently to me, that is also why I feel there's a lesson here, maybe a karmic lesson or something
