Desire
People, pray and ask for "this and that" from god.
Why do people ask for a Limited desire? Why don't they expand their desire?
Why don't they desire to be with the God Himself and none other?
God gives everything we ask, so says Religions. Why don't we ask the God Himself?

Ignorance and thereby inability to visualize the bliss of being one with God - is probably the reason why people seek limited desire. Further God has in-built mechanism to provide bliss/energy compulsorily to all in the form of sleep in the most basic manner. So people may not realize the need for the same in regular life.
"God gives everything we ask " is only partial truth . He gives it only when when we deserve it (checking our past deeds and future orientation ) . All this is may not be easy and comfortable for people . So they may be trying other ways which may not always be bad .
Finally sustaining life of this earth may be a big challenge to many . So they may not come out of its rigors to see larger picture of having bliss in knowing and believing in God.

Sir, do you know, that the God gave this life only to feel bliss and satisfy hunger through senses and return back to him, but we forget to feel the bliss and run for Samsara/sensual pleasures/attachments to parents,beauty,etc..?
