I already am. I catch and then freeze them – the most humane end to cane toads. Did not know one could lick those as well. Would
not try:

But here is where an addict hits a snag.
Have watched quite a few Kensington St. youtubes – and the imagery doesn’t really give one the picture, but the soundscape does:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1IiKZxskDQ
^ The piano soundscape is so like the
‘heroin cloud 9’ and the voiceover is like
“another room” – this sterile, alien, cutting and cold reality we call ‘normal’.
Then when the speeding train takes off Kensington station – it sounds a bit like the
“Aztec Death Whistle” – which is like the oppressive cloud overhanging on the background awareness of an addict about the self-destructive path one is on.
This Methadone friend once told me that the scariest bit wasn’t the withdrawals from heroin but adjusting to this alien reality (we call normal). Because one’s brain becomes so set in that other mode, I assume ….
I would also assume, that psychedelics (ethical, clinical, safe use) could reset the brain with a potential of a fresh new start. Besides, having faced one’s worst fear already – the oppressive cloud might lose its hold on one. And the idea to even ASK
Spirit Design, might become an option.
‘My Hero’ of that world, was this former heroin addict, who later became a drug rehabilitation counsellor. Those people know how to offer real help.

But then – spiritually speaking. Long story, I have written it here somewhere, about a friend who passed, who showed me his passing … all that .. and in the end he guided my trance into, what I call
“Causal Realm” where he played the most
Heavenly piano music.
No drugs, but I did not want to come out of that trance either, but just stay there – forever.
Which is why – (not that I am one, but I do understand that) REAL Shamen do not need to take substances, so this strong association of Shamanism with psychedelics becomes a bit of an irritation.
