"Conversations with God"

Hi everyone.

Has anybody read the trilogy of books by Neale Donald Walsch called Converstaions with God?

I was advised my my Earth Angel workshop leader to read these books to gain some better understanding about Earth Angels and that feeling of "wanting to go home" but not entirely sure on where home is and our purpose here and other things, just wondered if any others had read them and what there thoughts were and whether they helped.

Posting this in this sectioned but if its placed wrongly please feel free to move it.

Yes, I've read them :) Several times in fact, as have most of my friends & family. And I promise you, they are absolutely worth reading! Whether you resonate with every word Neale says or not doesn't matter - you will no doubt appreciate the wisdom his reflections contain. There's a lot of controversy surrounding his work, but only because he encourages empowerment of the self instead of subservience to authority.

But if you still have doubts about whether or not the books are for you then I suggest looking up Neale on youtube and listen to some of what he has to say. He writes very similarly to how he speaks, and he articulates his thoughts quite well. He's a very interesting man with a fantastic vision of what life should be.

But as always - decide your own truth! And most importantly - have fun, & enjoy :)

Good luck brother. Peace :)

I've read all three and have to say I totally agree with TheAnarchist about the empowerment vs subservient idea, I loved all three but found the first one to be the most applicable in my life because Neale focusses on the individual as oppose to more wordly topics which he addresses in the later books. Highly recommended though, I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

I have read one of the books and it was fantastic!
Like having God in your living room, both sitting with a 'cup of tea'.
Having a chat with an old friend...
