Science actually has no idea what happens to human consciousness after death. All that science can say is that there is no longer life nor consciousness in the physical body. Because science insists that a human being is just the physical body and consciousness is somehow generated by the brain they therefore declare that life and consciousness cease to exist when the body has died.

You can put all your faith in science, but what if science has got it wrong?

So true the soul and spirit occupying the body takes long to die- the body can burn to ash but the soul does not hence until we manifest at the spirit a body we will keep reincarnating- because death doesn’t occur at the soul just the body.. all the atoms go to the environment of the body but not the soul or spirit- it continues until death occurs to it- which can take lifetimes.. imo

Of course the other issue is death as seen by various different cultures and beliefs. People generally develop all sorts of cosmological points of view, which are commonly categorized: atheist, agnostic, deist, polytheist, monotheist, pantheist, etc., etc., etc.

People generally take the path that they are attracted to, or attracts them. The path we take is what we open up to. How we bring what is in us out, as may be judged for better or worst, is how we are walking our path.

Regardless whether we call it “for better or for worst,“ it is still useful for our own very intimate expanded growth. All perspectives are useful for learning. The unchanging reality is beyond thoughts and words.
