QUIETUS POETRY FORM
For those who joined in late …
QUIETUS POETRY FORM
First stanza is a quatrain with 8-6-8-6 syllable count in end rhyme abab +
Followed by 6-6-6 syllable count tercet, end rhyme ccc +
Concluded by an equal syllable count rhyming couplet using refrain (any length as of poet’s choice) beginning with the first word (or words) of the first line, as the last line of the poem
The refrain (last line of poem) is also the poem title
Contributions welcome!
Note: Syllables are tricky, best to check with a program although programs too err. Popular ones are poetrysoup.com and howmanysyllables.com

Not strange at all, Nowayout. It is simple. Head (ego, doership) and heart (desire) are not aligned with Love. The love Christ consciousness embodies. Unconditional, all embracing, non-judgmental.
We must let go off, to get to, in a journey without movement. Thus, meld head with heart, abiding in thought rested silence. We become empty. Or we may say, cleansed, purified, purged. This emptiness is then filled by our own divinity as a bliss current. I liken it to magnetism. We can call it anything. Words are but symbols.
The cascading current like waves, fills us. Not instantly, since we offer resistance, owing to our conditioning, residual fears & desires. As we become acceptant, trusting the energy, it fills us. There is no limit. Each pore is a door.
