Yes, an emotional day for footy . I also hope Leeds can do it next weekend .
Man city of course have to play man U at wembley next Saturday in FA cup final and then the euros so I'm a bit worried that some of the players might be really tired ahead of the euros with no respite .

Yeah your right Altair, it’s very hard to get a ticket into Anfield. When I went over to visit my son a few years back, he could t get one for me either but lucky enough his mates son gave me his so I was elated.
I really enjoyed the “farewell for Klopp” last night and also for Thiago and Joel Matip. Very emotional.
What I found really touching in Klopps final speech is that at the end of it, he asked the fans to give our new coach Arne Slot a big welcome and then he said, I’ll start off the chant…….and then he started singing……”Arne Slot la la la la la” then the whole stadium started singing it. Now that is REAL CLASS!

Yes, what a man right? Cheering for his successor. He obviously knows his successor will have a hard time replacing him. Good on him to move the fans.

Liverpool is a very close-knit city with fantastic fans; and Jurgen Klopp has understood this really well.

SirN. Yep you’re right. LFC is more a “family” than a club. It binds everyone together and if something bad happens to anyone, then the whole club come together to help.
Not so long ago one of fans got got hit in the head by a Napoli fan with a metal bar for no reason whatsoever. He was a fifty year old dad who came over From Ireland and just going to the game. He ended up with long term health problems and a Long battle ahead of him.
LFC brought his family over and paid for all accommodation and all his medical bills and helped with further treatment in the future. Quite a few years later he learnt how to, just about walk again, so he came back to the club just to show Klopp his achievement. Klopp was hugging him and his family and there were tears all around of course. Beautiful video on line. His name was Sean Cox.
This was just one of the thousands of things that they do for fans and also for the people of Liverpool. Awesome club!
