Nose chakra?

My nose has been tingling ever since I learned about the nose chakra, now im curious as what its role is. I can't seem to find much info on this.

Anyone have any links or info they could share on this subject? I would greatly appreciate it.

To feel the tingling means you are becoming more deeply aware of the sensations in your body. While the tingling is really there things you read about the chakra are theoretical and speculative. I suggest you really focus on the sensation and feel it in every detail... it is a good focus for the meditation.

This sensation is the olfactory nervous system which you now notice in much detail.

Directly under the nostrils (where hitler's mustache was) is a central point in the body's meridian system. In the aquapuncture and the EFT healing system it is a rather critical point... and in martial arts it is a deadly strike point.

In a quiet time close your eyes and direct all your attention to the sensations in the nose and feel every detail of it, then when it becomes quite intence concentrate on the area just below the nostrils where that meridian point is... and you will feel sensations start there.

Please respond when this occurs and I will tell you some more.

Awesome, thanks Gem for sharing, I'll try and take a few minutes today and do this, I said tingling cause I can't really describe the feeling. As i type this it grows stronger as well.

Good grief - is that why I got a really itchy nose when I was first attuned to Reiki??

I've heard that we have a lot more chakras than just the "basic" seven. I've heard we have about four above our head the farthest reaching god, I've heard we have hand chakras etc. I bet we have more chakras than most people think and it's in interesting topic. Does anyone else know about this?

thought it was allergies.......out of the blue will itch so bad i could use sandpaper to get it to stop.

Perfectly natural. The breath is felt as a sensation in the nostrils... just breath in and there it is... you feel the nostrils right?

When the perception begins to deepen the nose feels it first because the breath activates the nose with every in breath and every breath out.

If you can concentrate on the area I previously described the sensation will be felt upon a part of you which is connected to the whole body's meridian system (used in aquapuncture etc).

Can you feel the sensation in the area I previously mentioned?

There are 7 major chakras, based on the spine (the base (end of the spine), sacral plexus (lower abdomen), solar plexus (belly button area), heart, throat (based on the thyroid), the brow (between the eyebrows) and the crown (center of the top of the head)).

There are 21 minor, in each hand, in each foot, behind the knees, behind the eyes, and around the trunk of the body.

It amazes me how some on here invent chakras were there arent any. Chakras are where energy meridian lines cross and thus have been well discovered in Eastern philosophy and they are ALL well documented.

I presume by nose chakras we are talking about those based behind the eyes and brow!.

I know that Doreen Virute talks about ear chakras and I have also heard about hand chakras.

Ear Chakras LOL!!!!!!!! OMG what ever next. I presume she means in clairaudience, which infact comes from the throat chakra.
