I like most colors.

But then....... I have some Prickly Pear Cactus. A bug called Cochineals try their best in trying to sit up home in those Cactuses of mine. Some day, I want to gather some of those bugs and make a red dye out of them. They claim some of the best red dye comes from those bugs.

While talking about Prickly Pear Cactus, that cactus produces red fruit which leaves a red stain behind when you eat them. Nothing like ending up with bright red lips. LOL!

That reminds me John. I need to buy some cacti! My other plants couldn't handle the sunlight...

eastern prickly pears are one of the very few cacti that will grow in cold environment I live in. I have one in my garden. It's a show stopper in summer with it's yellow/orange blooms. Orange is my favorite color!
