Backyard finds!
This is a thread for crystals you found personally, in your back yard or otherwise.
I just found a cool yellow calcite crystal in the back yard! It was something I liked to do as a kid, so this evening I dug up some limestone rocks I found in the yard, and hammered them open. They have lots of shell fossils in them. One of the shells had beautiful yellow calcite crystals in it :) Not big, but pretty!
