Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Well, I blame no one! Every single, solitary thing that has ever happened
to me this life has been because of ME! The good, the bad and the ugly.
Even, the stranger that hit my car and vanished from the parking lot once, no 2 times.
Not one thing ever happens that I have not created.

This presumes that there is a victim, an innocent person who experiences bad things through no fault of their own. This seems a very limited approach to understanding the human experience.

Saying that people are responsible for whatever they experience is not blaming the victim. It is an acknowledgement that there are no victims, that we are each the creator of our own circumstances, even if these circumstances are very unpleasant.

Those who think in terms of victims and perpetrators may consider the world to be a very unfair place. When we accept full responsibility for all our circumstances then we also accept that the world is indeed a fair and balanced environment for growth. It also removes the idea that we are powerless and helpless. If we create our own circumstances then we have the power to make different choices and create different circumstances.

Peace

There was a time when loads of women and babies would die during or after childbirth. So did that ''lesson'' got out of fashion or can we just accept that the natural explanation (we got better health care now) will suffice?

Humanity evolves, things change. Once upon a time people might have been trampled on by a mammoth or eaten by a sabre-toothed tiger. Now they get hit by the No. 37 bus.

But going back to women and babies and early mortality, perhaps the question is why did certain women and children die and not others? Maybe everyone involved had different lessons to learn from dying or surviving.

Peace
