Yeah...and the poor little thing is dying now (he is 12-13 years old). 
For the past week, I have tried giving him all his favourite things to eat and he's turned his nose up at everything - won't even drink water.
He gets half way up the stairs and just crashes and sleeps on the stairwell and he's panting and cannot breathe properly.
I'd take him to the vet, but they charge thousands of dollars just to put him down - which they probably will - he's in a really bad way.
All I can do is make him comfortable now, try to heal his pain and pray he takes human birth next life.

Oh, Necromancer! I am truly sorry to read what has happened. Your first post said that he was a puppy, but post no.12 above says that he was in fact 12-13 years old.
If you need any emotional support, you have only to contact me via PM or the contact page on my website (link below). Tobi will, I'm sure, offer a sympathetic ear, too. We have both been through the initial pain of a beloved dog passing over. But rest assured, your dear pet will be waiting for you when your time eventually comes to cross over. Be ready to be covered in licks once again!
