Gem Elixirs

It all started when Nat looked at some polished tumble-stones, she could see unusual energetic things about them – some had spirals of various coloured energy extending from them, others had striating channels, others again seemed to have no more than a 'fuzzy cloud'. Stranger still were those stones that had an energy channel at one end and nothing happening elsewhere but – if these were turned, the channel would dissipate and vanish and then reappear again from a new area – but pointing in the same original direction, just like a compass. None of these things seemed to make any sense and it was this confusion that intrigued Nat to go deeper into the mystery.
The fact that many polished stones had such varied forms of energy expression was further compounded when the natural, unpolished versions were examined next to them. Frequently, the natural stones would exhibit significantly more energy than their polished counterparts. Agate and Angelite when polished were seemingly depleted and yet Amber and Lapis Lazuli had no discernible change at all. Throughout the sixty stones Nat examined, she found wide variations in energy expression but on the whole, it seemed that many crystals and minerals would have less energy after being polished, so she looked into at this situation. She drew diagrams of what she saw with each stone and gradually created a large collection of pictures and drawings.
She realized there were two types of energy channels present with all minerals that connected 'the outside world' with them. The first were ‘entrance channels’ that allowed surrounding subtle energies into the mineral and then it would 'do something' with these before emitting them outside again through 'exit channels'. It seemed that the polishing process had a detrimental effect to some minerals and this was because either the ‘entrance’ or the ‘exit’ channels were partly or wholly damaged.
Life on our planet Earth is not restricted just to our material world; there are as much, if not more varied forms of life on the subtle levels as upon this physical dimension. We can acknowledge life in our Human, Animal and Vegetable Kingdoms, but what of Minerals; are they really 'alive'? There are some schools of thought that suggest minerals are very much alive, but that we may be generally unequipped or insufficiently developed to appreciate this. The only route that made any sense to Nat with what she was observing was that minerals are indeed alive; but not in any physical sense that man can ordinarily perceive. Each and every stone, crystal or rock, has a 'spark of life' or 'Monad' within it. However let's evaluate that statement, these 'Monads' are primaeval and extremely primitive, they certainly cannot possess any form of intelligence. They only appear to perform minimal action; to connect with, slightly change and then emit different forms of surrounding subtle energies of the local environment and that is all. Where a large mineral body is broken up into smaller pieces, instantly, new ‘Mineral Monads’ will take up residence in each of the pieces.
The whole Mineral Kingdom is alive in a constant progression of evolution, it can be understood to have seven ‘evolutionary groups’ of mineral energy types, separated only by what they 'do' to other local types of energy. There are 'Attractors', 'Balancers', 'Breakers', 'Reflectors', 'Capacitors', Transformers' and 'Energizers'. Each group of minerals have Monads that act in a certain way upon surrounding, subtle energies and with every minuscule 'change' they make to these, so the Monads very, very, very slowly evolve.
The reason why some crystals and stones have ‘energetic damage’ or seemingly no damage after polishing treatment is relative to which evolutionary group they belong to. Agate and Angelite, mentioned earlier do seem to have permanently damaged exit channels after being polished and both of them belong to the first group of Attractors. Amber and Lapis Lazuli on the other hand, seem to either have no damage at all or else they recover very rapidly and both are members of the highest group; the Energizers. As a general rule, the higher the group the stone belongs to, the less effect polishing seems to have on it.

A curious subject that we explored was that of the Gem Elixirs. The practice of placing crystals in water for a while and then drinking the water has been around for a very long time. The theory behind it is that the crystals will ‘charge’ the water with their energy. We carried out some simple experiments. We took a piece of Rose Quartz and a placed it in a glass of water and Nat observed what would happen. Nothing occurred for about twenty seconds and then there seemed to be a ‘mini energy explosion’ in the water. The pink Rose Quartz energy suddenly grew three times its normal size! Nat became fascinated with this phenomenon and we tried it with various stones, all with the same result. We left the Rose Quartz in the glass of water for 24 hours and then removed it, the water did indeed carry a pink ‘charge’ of the mineral’s energy; but it remained for only 36 hours and then it began to dissipate and eventually vanished altogether. This experiment led to others and more details were recorded and conclusions obtained. It is a fact that an elixir (made by adding a stone to water for a length of time and then removing it) cannot hold the charge of a mineral energy forever – it will only last so long.
We then tried the same experiment with earth. We filled a pot with soil and put a quartz crystal deep into it. The same energetic effect happened. We then looked at the T-light candleholders made from minerals such as Rose Quartz and Amethyst, when the candle was lit inside them the same energetic effect would happen. We could see a pattern developing here with the four elements but we couldn’t figure out why the crystals in ‘Air’ had ‘less energy’ that with Water, Earth and Fire. Then we tried moving air; the esoteric quality of Air is movement and moving air acted in the same way; if you blow on a crystal it will briefly create more mineral energy. We used a small battery operated fan!
With these experiments, we realized that there was definitely a link between how much energy comes from a crystal and the four elements and it took some time to solve the mystery of what was happening.
Nat had been looking at the subtle anatomy inside minerals for a long time and she had drawn images of all the different energetic structures they possessed. One of these was a strange looking three-dimensional ‘propeller’ shape with four ‘petals’. Each petal was for each of the four elements, Air, Water, Fire and Earth – the basic building blocks of energetic life. By putting the mineral inside the medium of one the four elements; we were saturating the mineral with that energy type and the ‘Monad’ had then no choice to increase the absorption of the other three elements to maintain harmony and balanced equilibrium. That was why there would be a sudden increase of mineral energy much greater than before. The conclusion we reached about Gem Elixirs is that they are a valid method of using crystal energies for healing but one should be certain the minerals used are non-toxic.
We had felt that we wanted to start a family for a few months and although we were ‘trying hard’, nothing seemed to be happening. So one day we decided to put some of our own research to the test. We knew that the mineral Rhodocrosite had a direct association to conception and can be used to treat infertility and impotence so decided to give it a go. So I cleaned and scrubbed a kg of the natural, rough mineral. We then weighed it out to three equal quantities of around 330g or so. We then cut the tops off three ‘2 litre’ plastic bottles and put them on the kitchen counter in a row. We poured in one litre of water (we actually used mineral water because it tasted better than the tap water) into each bottle and added the measured quantity of the Rhodocrosite mineral to each bottle.
The next day, Nat decanted and drank the water from one of the bottles, through the day. When the bottle was empty, she refilled it with a litre of more water and the bottle was placed at the ‘back of the queue’. She continued to drink the Rhodocrosite elixir every day.
After 3 weeks she was pregnant we were delighted. Some nine months later, a beautiful Soul returned to this world.
It is also an interesting fact that all tumble-stones can be used to make elixirs – even those that have had their expression damaged through the polishing process. Polished Amethyst has only around 20% of its mineral energy expression when compared to its unpolished condition but you can place polished Amethyst into a glass of water for example and it will after a short time generate an energy field three times larger than it has when dry. Remove the stone from the water and its expression shrinks back down to the 20% it had before.
This ‘triple effect’ has its uses. T-light candleholders made from minerals, therefore can be considered as the crystal healers tools; light the candle and you have three times more mineral energy to work with! It is especially useful for working with those crystals that are by their nature, small – such as Topaz and Watermelon Tourmaline – to get more energy to work with – put the crystal into a small cup, or even a small polythene bag and add water… You can then place the cup or bag appropriately and do your work.

I will soon post an article about the specific use of thoughtforms with such minerals and explain that the mineral does not have to be in contact with either the healer or the patient; it can be placed on a table nearby & work can be done just as perfectly.

The moral of the story – don’t buy gem elixirs 'off the shelf' in a shop – they will likely be of little use at all.

Again, thank you for an extremely interesting article. I would be very interested if you could post various minerals in each of the 7 "evolutionary groups". I fellow I know has taken Carnelian in an Elixir from his country of origin Columbia South America. He is extremely well built and fit. He attributes this to his elixir saying he has never formally been on a physical fitness program. On a jewellery testing instrument he tested Quartz from Brazil & Quartz from Columbia ; amazingly they tested at opposite ends of the scale. The Columbian closer to the Diamond side. I am not a jeweller but I believe this particular tester tests electrical conductivity.

I'll see what I can do..

The different Quartz... We defined only nine actual (energetic) varieties of Quartz yet among these will be a multitude of different 'species'. So A Clear Quartz crystal from Minas Gerais, Brazil would be very slightly different to one from Arkansa US - yet physically they might appear to be identical.

When you pass an electrical charge through Quartz, it creates a very specific vibration - I think it is called oscillation - and the feature was used to make the first digital watches; it's probably still used to this day...

Thanks for the very interesting post. Could you give some more example of crystals belonging to each of the 7 evolutionary groups?

Given that I haven’t actually done an article on the evolutionary groups as such, - I have edited bits and pieces to create this… It might have been a little more interesting if I could show you some pictures and diagrams but ...

1. The first group are the Attractors. These have qualities of pulling to themselves all types of energies in their vicinity.
2. The second group are the Reflectors. These make contact with energies that surround them and react by creating protection which leads to complete isolation of certain minerals.
3. The third group are the Breakers. These break up and destruct other types of energies, and as a result they reduce the energetic potential of (and discharge) other types of energies.
4. The fourth group are the Balancers. These balance all energies that surround them.
5. The fifth group are the Transformers. These transform of all types of 'negative' energies that make contact with them.
6. The sixth group are the Capacitors. These collect energies surrounding them during a certain period of time and then release them into the local environment extremely rapidly, akin to an energetic explosion.
7. The seventh group are the Energisers. These energise other types of energies with constantly increasing power, recharging energies that they contact.

The Transformers Group
Amethyst (in clusters), Bloodstone, Malachite (Solid & Fibrous), Rose Quartz, Amethyst (massive), Blue Sapphire,

The Capacitors Group

The Energisers Group
Amber, Obsidian Apache Tear, Calcite (all types), Carnelian, Lapis Lazuli (Crystal form), Topaz (Imperial & Blue),
Quartz

This type of energy, we can observe from two points of view - shallow and deep. During the shallow observation, the statement that all physical types of clear Quartz have universally common structure for each of them will be correct. It will also mean that it is possible to unite energetic qualities of each of them for common characteristic of their use. During the deep observation, this type of energy can be divided into levels of evolutionary graduation creating sublevels in the general evolutionary subject of mineral energies.
As we know, the energies of all minerals are divided into seven evolutionary levels (seven groups) of the development of the monad. This means that during the comparison of the evolutionary levels that have been created for the creation of the compositionary structure of the mineral, the levels of their complexity will have a difference between each other. On the base of this statement is the conclusion that the energy of clear Quartz has the most complex energetic structure and is the highest in the evolutionary graduation of the minerals. However, in further and deeper analysis it is possible to continue the definition of this type of energy into a few other evolutionary sublevels. Each of them will have only slight differences, in the formation of the costruct and the result of its energetic qualities. The importance of observation of each of them and the definition of fixed qualities behind them is important only from the point of view of use of this knowledge according to the information about energetic reality and its use with special energetic exercises.

The Varieties of Quartz

When we refer to 'Quartz' - we specifically mean only 'true Quartz' - in the varieties of Massive, Milky, Faden, Phantom, Herkimer Diamond, Elestial, Lazer, Double - Terminated Points and Clear Single Terminated Points and clusters. We do not mean Quartz in the perspective of Amethyst, Citrine, Smoky, Jasper, Aventurine etc… as all these mineralogical varieties are not 'true Quartz' in an energetic sense.
In approaching the subject of Quartz we would also point out that many people have given special names and special properties to various types of Quartz crystals - such as 'Transformers', ‘Generators’, ‘Channelers’ and ‘Record Keepers’ etc… We do not mention these varieties at all in our work, after energetic scrutiny we conclude that the alleged properties of such are purely and only the result of thoughtform interaction and that they are not true, different energetic varieties of Quartz at all. It is inevitable that many people may consider this statement as controversial. Yet if these named crystals were truly different from the initial nine varieties we list then someone will be able to provide an exhaustive energetic explanation of their actual functions and also be able to provide the image of their costructs as well. We can not…
The energies of the group of true Quartz have the following evolutionary subdivisions:
1. First – massive quartz,
2. Second – Milky Quartz clusters and points,
3. Third – Faden Quartz,
4. Fourth – Herkimer Diamonds and any variety of Phantom Quartz,
5. Fifth – Elestial Quartz,
6. Sixth – Double Terminated Quartz – (both milky and clear),
7. Seventh – Lazer Quartz,
8. Eighth – Clear Quartz points and clusters.

As much as there are actually nine varieties, there are eight classic subdivisions because both Herkimer Diamonds and Phantom Quartz belong to the same sublevel. In actual reality, there is a slight difference between them, but this does not present sufficient reason to separate them.
The ability of Quartz to create the rainbows through the reflection of light in their inclusions has no information meaning on an energetic level, it is purely a physical phenomenon.
Clear Quartz is on the highest evolutionary level and that means as fewer inclusions in it (from the physical point of view) as high an evolutionary level it has. If it is the case of an inclusion of a mineral in pure transparent Quartz then this case must be viewed individually for the description of qualities of that specimen. However, in general, the connection of the energy of clear Quartz with the energies of any other minerals can happen only on a certain evolutionary level and this identifies any such energetic connection into narrow fixed evolutionary frames of one level. Man can manufacture artificial Quartz crystals for industrial purposes; such are of no energetic use, as they do not contain a monad.
After polishing, the destruction of the solar channels occurs and this is the reason why the renewal of the complete functioning takes five to six years – this description is only for Quartz expressed in points and clusters. The other cases need individual observation.

This bit on Quartz is a direct text copy from our thesis as it explains the explanation of the different (energetic) varieties of Quartz – all in the Energisers group. It isn’t from any published article and contains specific nomenclature to the work we were doing.
Oh and if you are thinking of asking why we only list so many in each group - it was because, at the time, we only had these particular minerals and stones in our shop; they were the most common at the time and the actual classification to each group was done by observation and not any other method - so in other words, we had no personal involvement of why we list 14 to the Reflectors group yet only 3 to the Capacitors one... Each group has a very specific 'Evolutionary Structure' - there are only seven types and when this energetic structure was studied - it was immediately obvious which group any of these minerals belonged to.

If there are 8 evolutionary subdivisions of Quartz what is the difference in the healing, & communicative etc. qualities of each subdivision? (For example a milky Quartz point compared to the clear point) What are the functions of each subdivision?

Also, you say that after 5-6 years a polished Quartz has a renewal of the complete functioning in points & clusters, ......can you be more specific? Is there a certain percentage of renewal compared to raw unpolished Quartz points & clusters?

It could take some time... Whilst it is true that each of the Quartz varieties do have specific uses; these each are three fold because there are physical qualities of minerals (health of the body..), emotional/mental qualities and there are spiritual qualities. Thus it would take too long to dig out each and every one & copy & paste from the thesis just to make up an answer. It would be simpler to past a large section of text, but my wife is less keen on that. The examination of the subject as a whole was simply to understand why minerals have 'healing' qualities and exactly how did they 'work' - but then it was like getting the answer found on the top of a pyramid. In order to understand it you need to understand the level beneath it, in order to understand that level .. and so on and so on until you are standing on the ground next to the pyramid looking up at the answer. As this was pioneering research and nobody had done it before, we had to give different, discovered energetic structures and functions new names; (for example Iestruct & Costruct). Nobody would understand the later section on these quartz qualities simply because they won't have learned the earlier notes about the lower 'levels of the pyramid'. So, I'll leave this out.

Now that I can answer; its because of the Quartz variety in context being a crystal that had a solar energy channel entering its point. Every crystal with a termination carries a solar channel going into the point. In the respect of Quartz points - when polished, the Monad enters a phase of 5-6 years during which its evolutionary growth slows down while it adapts to an existence with little or no subtle solar energy coming to it. After the phase, it has adapted and can continue to function as it used to before. You have to remember that the context perspective here is one of examination of a form of life - it isn't about healing. The healing quality comes about where we can take advantage of the myriad of forms of different mineral energies; they are not here for our benefit, they are just simply here as are we.
The context is about the examination of the the difference between a natural Quartz point and a polished stone that was once a quartz point. Through polishing - it loses its main sustenance channel and thus goes through a quieter phase. During this quieter phase, it consequently isn't as beneficial to use for healing as it doesn't have as much mineral energy expression. Maybe see it as a rechargeable battery that has lost its charge and needs 5-6 yrs of natural recuperation to once again have the full charge it used to have...?
The raw unpolished Quartz points & clusters are perfect anyway - as they have not been polished.

Thank you for answering my second question. Is there anyway you could give us a shortened idea of what you & your wife believe is the aspect that humans can utilize from each of the 8 true quartz stages? Such as Milky Quartz, Faden, Elestial, etc.
